Produces unusual pale green to emerald green bells which surround tiny white fragrant flowers. Bells are densely packed along the 2-3 foot stems. Long 2 1/2 inch pale green leaves alternate between the bells. Both the flowers and the leaves are fragrant. Excellent for borders, beds, containers, and blooming stems can be cut and used in fresh or dried flower arrangements. It has been cultivated since 1570 and is an old-fashioned favorite that is easily started from seed. A very unique attractive plant to add to the landscape. An excellent selection!
Sowing: Sow indoors 8-10 weeks before last frost. Barely cover the seeds as they need light to germinate. To speed germination you can place the sowed seeds in a plastic bag and place them in the refrigerator for 2 weeks. Transplant out when the night temperatures are at least 40 degrees F. Or sow outside after danger of frost in sun to partial shade in well drained soil. Keep moist during germination.

Days to germination: 25-35 days Moisture: Regular Soil: Well drained; normal soil. Fertilize every 4-6 weeks or plant with plenty of compost.

Information: Self seeds. To dry pick the stems when the bells are fully open and hang upside down in a dry airy location until fully dry. Dried the color will eventually fade to light beige.
