Heirloom.
A wonderful heirloom english cucumber variety that is excellent for green house growing and is just as wonderful grown in the garden. Plants grow 15-18 inch long straight dark green fruits with superb flavor. The fruits are never bitter and have very few seeds. Very productive strong vines bear over a long season. Excellent eating! Provide support for the vines in order to produce the straight fruits. A wonderful selection to grow!
Sowing: Sow direct into peat pots 3 weeks before last frost, or plant direct to the garden planting in full sun with at least 6 hours of direct sun, planting outdoors in spring when all danger of frost is past and soil temperature is warm (Aprox. 65 degrees F.) Sow seeds 1/2 inch deep in well drained soil. Keep seed bed moderately moist during germination. Transplant the pots or disturb roots as little as possibe. Harden off before transplanting outside.

Soil: Prefers light, rich, well drained soil with lots of organic matter. Light: Full Sun

Information: Warm season vegetable. Mulching the plant is advised. Harvesting regularly will help plant produce prolifically throughout the season.
